DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS delves into the intersection between human dance and machine imagination. As artificial intelligence surpasses human intelligence, it increasingly blurs the lines between human and technology.
This series of images was captured in a studio setting. Driven by a fascination with movement, I used my body as a tool to translate motion into visual shapes. Dressed in white, I danced while capturing these movements on camera to create an abstract video. This video served as a foundation for engaging the artificial intelligence to envision the continuation of the dance. I then extracted still images from both my videos and those generated by the AI.
This process acts as a collaborative dialogue between my movements and the AI's imagination. I intentionally refrain from disclosing which stills originate from which source, allowing for a seamless transcendence of physical and digital imagery.
DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS invites viewers to reflect on the evolving relationship between human and artificial intelligence, offering a glimpse into a future where the boundaries between the physical and digital realms become increasingly blurred, and the potential for discovery remains limitless.
