DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS explores the dialogue between human movement and machine imagination. The work reflects on the evolving relationship between technology and the body, and how artificial intelligence blurs the boundary between the physical and the digital.
The series takes shape through photography and video. A dance performance, captured in a studio, was used as the foundation for an abstract video, which was then extended by artificial intelligence to imagine the continuation of the movement. Still images were extracted from both human-generated and AI-generated material, presented without distinction to create a seamless interplay between the two.
Through this process, DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS transforms performance into a collaborative exchange between body and machine. The refusal to reveal origin—whether human or artificial—dissolves hierarchies of authorship, allowing the images to transcend the limits of their source.
The work invites viewers to reflect on the shifting boundaries between human and artificial intelligence, offering a glimpse into a future where motion, memory, and technology merge into limitless possibilities.
